Stonehaven Folk Festival COVID Advice

At the time of the 2022 Festival, all COVID rules and restrictions have been lifted in Scotland but the virus has not gone away. There are still things you can do to protect yourself and others.

If you have symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as Covid-19, and you have a high temperature or do not feel well enough to go to work or carry out normal activities, try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people, until you no longer have a high temperature (if you had one) or until you no longer feel unwell.

We would advise anyone who has tested positive to be conscious of others’ safety and try to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. Please refer to government guidelines for more information.

It is not a requirement to wear a face covering at the Festival. However, we would advise everyone to be conscious of others’ safety and try to reduce the risk of spreading the virus, and recommend that you bring face coverings with you in case you need one.

It’s recommended that you bring hand sanitiser with you. There will also be sanitiser available at the entrance to all Festival Venues.

If you do feel unwell at the Festival

• Drink fluids like water to keep yourself hydrated

• Get plenty of rest

• Wear loose, comfortable clothing – don’t try to make yourself too cold

• Take over-the-counter medications like paracetamol – always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
