Ruach are an Aberdeenshire based band that compose all of their own music and songs. The band line up features :
Kenn Clark - Vocals, Guitar, Tenor Banjo & Whistle
Euan Reid - Accordion
Finn O'Neill - Tenor Banjo, Guitar, Bodhran & Mandolin
Craig Dyke - Mandolin & Mandola
Ruach originally started as a three-piece to fill a late night festival club slot at the world renown and much loved Stonehaven Folk Festival in 2018. The following year saw the addition of Kenn to the band and cemented the line up. Ruach has played gigs at several prominent festivals in the last few years including Orkney Folk Festival, Celtic Connections and Speyfest and have self recorded and released an EP.
A week before the first Ruach gig it was boldly decided ("just for the craic") to only play self composed tunes and songs. That ethos has stuck with the band and gives audiences something new to experience at every Ruach gig.
